Selectboard Discussion Postponed from 6/12

  1. I just looked at the selectboard agenda at 5:30 pm and this discussion is still listed. It is also on Front Porch Forum as part of the meeting. Can you get them to put it out publicly if it is not going to be discussed? Deb Holt

    1. Deb – I’m not sure what you mean by “put it out publicly”. Because of state laws about open meetings and when things need to get advertised, there was no way to change the agenda. However, the Selectboard always reviews and approves the agenda at the beginning of each meeting, so that is a time to add or delete items. Also, the extra time is to make sure what we are trying to give to the town is more fully vetted by the road foreman and the public so that when it gets to the board in July, it will be smoother sailing.   2. Hopefully they’re not trying to push it back hoping that people will be on vacation or otherwise less likely to attend/tune in to the meeting to voice their displeasure at this decision.
